| Lineo Acquires Zentropix |

NEW YORK, Feb. 1 -- (company press release) -- Lineo, Inc., a leading developer of embedded Linux system software, today announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire Zentropix, a leading provider of real-time Linux solutions. By adding the real-time expertise of Zentropix to the Embedix product line, Lineo now offers a solid real-time Linux solution to OEMs, extending the capabilities of the Embedix product family and providing a broader, deeper range of embedded Linux development tools.

Zentropix, headquartered in Herndon, Va., also has an engineering office located in the United Kingdom. In total, the company has 15 employees. These offices will remain intact, extending Lineo's sales and development centers to five areas: Utah, Virginia, Washington, Taiwan and the UK.
